Mr Lew was appointed an Independent Director of our
Company on 15 January 2002.
His career started in the Administrative Service from which he
was seconded to the National Trade Union Congress (NTUC).
He was the Executive Secretary of the Metal Industries
Workers' Union from 1981 to 1982 and 1984 to 1989. From 1987
to 1993, he was the General Manager and subsequently
Managing Director of NTUC Comfort Holdings Ltd. During this
period, he was concurrently the General Manager of NTUC Pasir
Ris Resort from 1989 to 1991, the Managing Director of General
Automotive Services Pte Ltd from 1990 to 1993, the Assistant
Secretary-General of NTUC from 1990 to 1994 and the Executive
Director of NTUC FairPrice Co-operative Ltd from 1993 to 1994.
He joined Banque Indosuez (now known as Credit Agricole
Indosuez) in 1994 as General Manager and was Senior Country
Officer from 1994 to 1997.
Mr Lew was a Member of the Singapore Parliament from 1988
to 2001. He was Chairman of the Government Parliamentary
Committees for National Development, Education, Finance and
Trade and Industry. Currently the Managing Director of
Stanbridge International Pte Ltd and Director of Capital
Connections Pte Ltd, he is also the President of the Singapore
Manufacturers' Federation (SMa). He holds directorships in
several other public-listed companies in Singapore and is
currently Chairman of the Board of Ascendas Pte Ltd and
Ascendas-MGM Funds Management Ltd.
A scholar of the Singapore Government, Mr Lew holds a
Masters of Engineering from Cambridge University,
UK and a Masters of Business Administration from Stanford
University, USA.

Mr Foo was appointed an Independent Director of our
Company on 15 January 2002.
He worked in the Economic Development Board (EDB) for 26
years and has served overseas as the Regional Director of
EDB's offices in Europe and North America. He left the EDB
in 1993 for the private sector. His last appointment in EDB
was Director of the Industry Development Division and
concurrently, General Manager of EDB Investments Pte Ltd.
From 1994 to 1997, Mr Foo was Singapore's Ambassador to
France with concurrent accreditations to Spain, Portugal and
Switzerland (from 1994 to 1997) and Israel (from 1996 to 1997).
He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver)
in 1986 and was conferred Chevalier in the Order of the
Palmes Academiques by the French government in 1988.
Mr Foo holds directorships in several other public-listed
companies in Singapore, including DMX Technologies Group
Ltd and Fischer Tech Ltd.
Mr Foo is a Registered Professional Engineer and a Fellow of
the Institution of Engineers, Singapore. He holds a Professional
Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic
and attended the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford
University, USA in 1985. |

Mr Goh was appointed an Independent Director of our
Company on 15 January 2002.
He has been with the Tat Lee Group of Companies since 1982.
The Group is involved in properties and plantations in Malaysia
and Indonesia.
Mr Goh holds directorships in several companies and has
considerable experience in corporate finance and business
development.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of York,
Canada. |

KEA KAH KIM

Mr Kea was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of our Company on 15 January 2002 and appointed as a Board director on 8 March 2005. He is responsible for the Group’s strategy and business direction. His leadership has been instrumental in re-structuring the Group’s businesses since the re-listing of the Company, and re-positioning the business focus from its traditional manufacturing to the new fibre optics network operations in China’s fast growing telecommunication sector.
Mr Kea joined Tat Lee Bank in 1982, leaving as Head of Corporate Planning. In 1984, he joined Kea Holdings Pte Ltd to take charge of financial restructuring and business development. Kea Holdings is a regional group of diverse businesses in timber products, shipping and trading.
In March 2004, Mr Kea was also appointed CEO and Chairman of Blu Inc Group Limited, a public-listed company which engages in regional media businesses.
Mr Kea has an engineering degree form the University of Leeds, UK. |
